Spring is coming . Mart journal 2

Spring is coming soon. I haven't been here for a few days, actually two or three weeks. There was a lot of work to do and not much time. I hope I'll find more time to be active here too.
We added a mini peach of the fantasy variety ,

Since we built the greenhouse, I needed to make the beds. The problem was that I didn't have any boards. So I had to use pallets. First I had to cut them and then I had to make the beds.
In our greenhouse, we planned two beds and one in the middle where we would plant the plants.

Daytime temperatures reach 16-17 degrees. But nighttime temperatures drop to 4-5. That's why I added a small heater to keep the temperature in the greenhouse above 10 degrees Celsius. Luckily, there are no frosts in the forecast for the coming period. Especially since the apricots have bloomed. My son calls them mangoes. And then when he can't remember the name of the plant, he says what I call mangoes :)

Our soil is heavy, loamy. Although we mixed half and half with burnt manure. When we water the soil in the greenhouse still cracks. We will have to add more or fine soil or some compost. While I was working at my regular job, my wife sowed the entire greenhouse and prepared many plants.

The garlic has sprouted in the garden. And we have planted strawberries. We have some of our own survivors, but for this we bought some here in our village from a man who deals with strawberries, the Kleri variety. We have installed foil and a watering system that will water the strawberries from a barrel. The water in the barrel will cool down and prevent shock to the strawberries.

And the second reason why we separated the strawberries and connected them to the barrels is that I took an okiten hose, a supply hose for the irrigation system, 50 meters long. And I plan to water the garden and orchard with it. I had a few free fountains left, so my son and I installed the irrigation system in the orchard.

Half a month and I spent my salary on the irrigation system and equipment. By the end of the month we will be gnawing at our bones. Jokes aside, we had to prepare all that because we have little rainfall here.
