Our garden is the best thing that could happen to us.

One of the best things that can happen to us is to spend time in nature in a garden surrounded by plants and growing plants.

The best thing that happened to me in the garden, well, a few plants. Which pleasantly surprised me.
From this position I can say and I claim that every year suits some other plants. Some bear well and some fail.
First I would mention the blackberry, although it was a dry year, with regular watering we managed to get a good yield.

A small pear tree that is not even a meter and a half tall, but it produced about a dozen pears and they all succeeded. I had to make a ladder to support it because it has weak branches.Also this is an unsprayed pear. When it was attacked by the pear wasp (Janus compressus) We cut off the tops of the pears and moved them as far away as possible.They removed it from the yard or burned it.

The next plant that surprised me was the fig tree.
Which produced so many fruits, that I had to build a ladder for it so that its branches wouldn't break. It was hit by a spring frost but it recovered quickly.

But the hero of the garden is definitely the raspberry.
First it suffered from spring frosts. They had just nipped it.
Just as it recovered, the drought arrived, which also damaged it in the first heat wave.
I didn't lose hope and always watered it with the other plants.
Two of the mailinas did suffer completely, they dried up, but three survived.
And they gave us a few raspberry fruits.
It's not much, but it's certainly a great success for this plant.

This year was good for all types of onions and for peas.
Yesterday I cut the wood and put it away, so we have completely dismantled our sitting area under the big cypress tree. And we can continue to enjoy the front garden.
