News from the greenhouse

Although the greenhouse is only 6m2. It fits a lot of plants in it. Although now my wife and I are planning either a larger greenhouse or another one like this. It's probably our gardener's disease :)
Don't tell her but my wife was against the greenhouse, but now things are totally different. As the plants grow and arrive, she is happier and would like more space. We are only waiting for the electricity bill to see how much our tiny little heater in the greenhouse will cost.

Our radishes have gone wild, they should be thinned out or transplanted. But my boss-wife says not to touch them, lest she hit me in the head with a radish.Of course, I'm kidding.

The whole greenhouse smells like milk. She watered it with a solution of milk and water as plant food. I don't know the exact ratio, but I'll check with her. I know she got her homemade milk from a woman in the village.

Both types of lettuce have started, I have to pay attention to the class, I can't remember where exactly she planted what.

I see that she herself marked where she sowed what.Dill

The peppers are almost ready to be picked. We have sown two varieties: Elephant's Ear and Macedonian Pepper. Both are large and fleshy and good for ajvar.

And we also have a little exotic, date palms. Some of them have leafed out and others are close to sprouting. I still can't believe it, we ate dried dates and soaked the seeds in water and now we have palm trees :) It's not a tree yet but it will be.

And tomatoes, well, we have a tomato invasion, we planted three varieties: Novi Sad apple tree, Gružan golden tomato, and we got one from a woman from the village, she says it's an old local variety. Of course, we also have cherries.

There are flowers in the pots, I took the seeds but I can't remember the name right now.

Do we have a division? I got the orchard, my wife the greenhouse, and we work the garden together. But since we work for ourselves, we do everything together.

In the beds we mixed garden soil and processed manure 50-50%. Our soil is a bit heavy, so it cracks. We are waiting for all or as much of it to sprout before we till it a little again.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.

That makes sense, thank you! 🌿 I’ll try something similar on my side as I develop my farm.

Congratulations on doing a great job growing so many plants. You are certainly going to have a bountiful harvest. You reminded me that I forgot to plant radish seeds. That will get done today for sure.

We are glad that we reminded you about radishes and we are constantly recalculating whether we have sown everything that we planned.

I noticed that as well. And your plants still grow so well. Do you have to water it more often?
