Finding and navigating this place was tricky but well worth the adventure as I stood before the welcoming sign with a vintage flavour, and a tantalizingly view of the quirky grounds beyond.

At a bridge, I came across a group of Japanese-speaking ladies dressed in extravagant Victorian European outfits that looked rather dashing and appearing out of space-time. Their faces were painted white and with sublime streaks of colour, Geisha style, which created a nice anachronistic effect. I knew I had arrived at a special place. There was an "energy" to it, to use New Age parlance, and I must say things did get a little surreal later on, as you'll see.

Blooming fields opened up under hazy skies. I had never been to a place like this one. I believe in flower power but this was epic. Just the size of it was overwhelming with rows upon rows of flowers. I have written about the sunflower fields before, but there were other types of flowers there, and they were just as abundant.

I soon came across a quaint and curious sight. A train crossing in the middle of the flowers. Trippy! It turns out that you can ride a miniature train around the fields, so when crossing the tracks, you need to watch out, or you might just get a blooming surprise.

There is a winery on the grounds where you can enjoy a bottle of local wine among the flowers and eclectic surroundings. Fifteen percent off is not too shabby.

Stop right there, fellow traveler. Where do you think you are going? Enjoying the flowers, are we? Very nice. Would you like to know what lies ahead of you? I see... I see a trip...a long strange one... a bike...a car... ah, that is all I see. 🔮

I told you it was a bit surreal.

Oh look! Here's our ride. Just in time because this leg of the journey has come to an end.

Thank you for visiting.

Wow, this is such a beautiful garden to visit! The sunflowers and colorful flowers are so attractive. They brighten up the whole place. I hope I can start planting flowers like these in my own garden soon. It would be a dream come true!
It's an incredible place where they grow multiple species of vibrant flowers. There was even a sunflower maze. It looked very cheerful and fun. I hope you get a chance to grow them and see them bloom.
Well, I absolutely loved this surreal trip; it’s all so magical and, as you say, it has a special energy, thanks to the abundance of flowers and their beautiful colours. I love dahlias and there were loads of them there. But one of the most spectacular things is that you can take a train journey through the sunflowers… I’d love to go on that trip; it must be incredible and wonderful.
Those women, dressed and made-up like that, pointed you towards a brilliant spot, what a fantastic trip, what a lovely walk; life is always full of surprises. Thank you so much, big hugs!🤗

This is a very special place with so many sights. I barely scratched the surface with my photos. They also grow vegetables and other plants. I saw animals like goats, pigs, and cows. It's really a spectacle. I didn't ride the train, but I got on the back of a wagon drawn by a tractor.
It’s the perfect place to spend a lovely afternoon – what a beautiful spot, and what a lovely photo!
