RE: September garden journal - Spring at Ligaya Garden

I'll pass in the message to her when I get home, thanks!

For leaf curl, i use traditional fungicidal lime and sulphur. I experimented with bokashi leachate and em1 for a couple of years. It had a small effect but this way works better. Because our trees are all grown in together and there's heaps of the fungus around, we'll neer get rid of it all.

Apparently traditional fungicidal lime and sulphur is no longer available to backyard gardeners in the US (but one can buy Roundup glyphosate no problem). Sigh...

So far I only have it on one tree. I used Captain Jack's Ready-to-Use Liquid Copper Fungicide. Approved for organic gardening, last winter. It seemed to reduce the amount of curl but didn't get rid of it.
