This morning, after sip a cup of coffee, my mom ask to me to help her in the garden. She eager to create a new spot for her houseplants in the garden. I thought she was move some pots to another location. That's something she often does every three months. Rotating houseplants. She says it's healing.
A meaningful activity that while seemingly unpleasant, is enjoy activity for my mom. Almost every time she doing this, I always ask, "It feels like it's in the right place, why move it?"
Then, she said she want to divide her houseplant, called Moses' Beard or in Indonesia Jenggot Musa, into several smaller pots so it could grow more. I never knew it had such a strange name. Moses' Beard?! Do people think it resembles the beard of a prophet? Why such a strange name?

Then, because I really didn't know anything about this type of houseplant, I looked up its actual name. OH MY GOD! Is this Spanish Moss? Really? Why is it called Moses' Beard? :D
It's understandable, it does sound like a beard, but I'm really surprise that it was name after someone. Why? I just want to know who name it here. Of course, this plant is not Indonesia plant and may have something new, which is why it wasn't given a proper name when it arrived in Indonesia.

The shape of this ornamental plant is truly beautiful. If arrange properly, potted, and hung in the right place, it add aesthetic on visual to the garden. It looks more like a small forest in front of the house, as if it a very shady place in the middle of the city. I've thinking about add some birds, but that's not the right idea. Or should I add a speaker with bird sounds in the garden?
Call me Isdarmady, sometimes Mady, Putra or anything you want. I have a pretty long name but call me very nicely. There are many things I like, especially hydroponics and coffee, sometimes I also like traveling and eating whatever I want. Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well. Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
