Monstera I Gifted from a Friend
I'm reminded of something related to this week's garden QOTW question. It happened almost five years ago and taught me that FOMO isn't just limited to investing, it also exists in gardening.
So, five years ago, during the transitional COVID-19 era, people finally developed FOMO about gardening. Everyone couldn't do anything but stay at home because the virus was so dangerous, as you could die from comorbidities.
That's why everyone want to crazy for home gardening. So, as someone who's been involve in the world of gardening and hydroponics.. I don't have any houseplants. All my houseplants belonge to my mom, and she really want have a plant is Monstera deliciosa.
I remember a friend of mine have one and he take care about mostera, so I gave his a few. I vividly remember that the plant only have two leaves, was small, and I thought it would be very risky for its future survival.
However, life is a process. I even have a Monstera deliciosa this big, and it's already starting to bear fruit. I don't have a single photo of this monstera when it had two leaves, but now it feels like I have a 17-year-old child. How short five years have been, and now it's the largest houseplant in my garden.
I still take very good care of it, even though it's very simple.
But so sad, before i take picture with the big monstera, my mom cutting the stem cause the monstera really so big and my garden not enough to save.
Call me Isdarmady, sometimes Mady, Putra or anything you want. I have a pretty long name but call me very nicely. There are many things I like, especially hydroponics and coffee, sometimes I also like traveling and eating whatever I want. Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well. Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
