Together with my dad, cutting a bunch of bananas from the plants we have at home, which is undoubtedly very satisfying for us

The last few days have been busy for me, as we've been working on repairing some air conditioners. We also took the opportunity to finish another job in the same apartment, which I'll show you more details about next week, God willing. But that hasn't stopped me from helping my dad around the house with some banana plants. The bunches are ready to ripen so we can enjoy them, and I'm also cutting them down because a friend of my dad's is going to take them to feed his animals (cows).

So when we got back around 5 PM, he asked if we could knock it down together, since he couldn't do it alone due to two factors: one, it was quite large compared to the ones we'd harvested before, and two, it was tied up with twine, which was too heavy to topple over (that's why I couldn't take any more pictures). Only when it was already on the ground was I able to take pictures, as I had both hands occupied holding the plant as it fell to avoid damaging the bananas.

Once it was on the ground, my dad cut them and took them home (please forgive me, my dad was shirtless, but in my haste to take the pictures, I forgot to tell him to put one on). I acted as the photographer, and then I moved the banana plant to where the man would take it tomorrow or the day after. I definitely forgot to take those pictures, but I was tired and hungry, and I overlooked that important detail. It's great to see how wonderful planting plants is, since we can enjoy their fruits, and animals benefit too.

A few hours later, without me even noticing, my dad had already cut the bunch of bananas in his hands and left it like this, as you can see, while he gets a cardboard box to store them in. We'll wait maybe a week or two to enjoy some delicious bananas we harvested ourselves right here at home—the freshest fruit imaginable. And so ends my small contribution to the #hivegarden community, which has been very supportive of my recent posts. For me, there's nothing better than being able to plant and harvest the food we'll later enjoy.
