The first thing was finding the perfect spot for it, a place where it wouldn't harm other plants or itself, since these particular ones grow quite a lot.

After that, it was just a matter of using a hoe to dig a hole about 30 centimeters deep. I thought it would be quicker, but it wasn't, so I had to work quite a bit because the soil was very hard and there were quite a few stones, since that area, like almost everywhere else, is just fill.

So I looked for the banana plant and noticed it was a bit damaged. I immediately used a machete to remove all the damaged parts, trying to leave only the best parts so it could grow as well as possible. Another tip I was given was to leave the trunk of the plant without leaves so that everything in the plant would be new and it wouldn't waste energy maintaining those leaves but rather creating new ones.

Once I placed the banana plant in the hole, it was just a matter of covering it with the soil I had previously removed and trying to position it as close to the center as possible.

Finally, I added a little water, and now I just have to take good care of it to see if we can soon enjoy some delicious bananas planted and harvested by ourselves at home. Happy and blessed weekend to those of us who, like me, love sharing posts here in the #hivegarden community, where nature shows us its bounty and all the food we can find when we put in the effort.
