To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, here are some photos of this lemon tree. It's clear that despite the limited water available, they're making the most of it to grow like this. Of course, it's still growing, and I didn't get too close to see it better, but I didn't see any fruit yet, although I'm sure it will soon.

Just below it, arranged in a circle, were tomato and papaya plants. These were undoubtedly planted there to maximize water absorption, and when the lemon tree is watered, the others also benefit. However, once the papaya plants grow larger, they will need to be moved to another location, as they will eventually compete with the other plants, which won't be beneficial to any of them, and they will grow larger than the lemon trees.

In one corner of the house, almost hidden perhaps to protect it from the sun's rays, was a spinach plant that is growing very well. Its proximity to the wall that divides this property from the neighbor's will also aid its development.

This concludes my small contribution to the #hivegarden community, where I try to share photos of my work. Since we have the opportunity to visit different homes, I can observe how each person takes advantage of and maximizes the potential of their land, and also how they manage irrigation when they don't have enough water.

Does being able to see what other people are doing with their gardens give you more ideas for yours? :)
