Nature and its wonders never cease to amaze us; a Wild Cherry tree that I had never noticed before

For so many years I've been visiting my grandmother's house, exploring every corner of the property, searching not only for a place to plant but also to enjoy the harvest of some of the plants growing there. I hadn't noticed this Wild Cherry tree until I stumbled upon it by chance while photographing an avocado tree that already has its blossoms, meaning we'll be able to enjoy them soon.

Since it's somewhat hidden, it's difficult to spot. It was only when I saw that striking red color, indicating the fruit was ready to eat, that I became curious. There were a few others at the ends of the branches, not many, but enough to try them. I also plan to check on them from time to time to see if I can harvest them and, of course, take full advantage of all the bounty that nature offers.

Furthermore, one of the characteristics of this plant is its natural protection: thorns that cover all sides, including the main trunk and branches.

This concludes my small contribution to the #hivegarden community, where nature undoubtedly has the ability to surprise us, as it has surprised me after so much time.

Judging by the leaves, bark and fruit: This is no cherry tree.
