Making the most of all the blessings that nature offers us now and for the near future

This afternoon, as usual, I went to water the plants I have at my grandmother's house. I also took the opportunity to check on the sweet pepper plants I have to plant very soon. After finishing, I was taking a short walk around the property, perhaps looking to plant other plants, clean up a bit, or simply sit in one of the shady spots there to get some fresh air.

During my walk, I came across two very different surprises on different plants, though they were quite close to each other. First, on a guava tree, I looked up and saw a guava fruit hanging from a hook. With the help of a nearby water pipe, I was able to knock it down. Holding it in my hand, I thought it was very small, but well, we shouldn't waste the fruits that nature offers us, so I immediately went to wash it to enjoy such a delicious and fresh fruit.

As I headed to the water trough, I opened the guava (not exactly in half) and removed the seeds, since I don't like to eat them, although some people do. I gave it a good wash before enjoying it.

While I was there, I glanced to the side and saw an avocado tree. Seeing it filled me with excitement because it was blooming for the first time, a sign that after several years of waiting, we would finally see its first fruit. This brought me immense joy, as it was the last tree my grandmother planted before she fell ill and became bedridden for several years, which ultimately led to her death. That's why it's so special, and seeing it so full of blossoms is undoubtedly a shared joy, wherever she may be.

So I say goodbye, but not before thanking nature for everything it offers us every day so that, with our effort, we can obtain and bring fresh food to the table, and also share those moments with excellent photographs here in the #hivegarden community, which we all love so much, those of us who have the joy of eating food planted and harvested by our own hands.
