They're planted almost next to the cassava plants I showed you earlier here. But the most interesting thing is that, being a farmer of the old school, he's used to planting corn in late April or early May (the rainy season), as we all know. So far, not a single drop of rain has fallen, and he's keeping his crops going because we have spring water, which he uses to irrigate the plants. As you can see, they're growing beautifully.

They're even starting to tassel, which tells us that we could soon see ears of corn. Of course, if it rains right now, it will help a lot, giving them more vitamins and energy so that the harvest is very, very good. So I'll be keeping an eye out to share much more nature content, which is what I most enjoy showing here on Hive, especially regarding agriculture, and even more so the kind we manage to do with our own effort without so much machinery or chemicals.

Also, the water, as I mentioned before, flows past the tomato plants. I was saying that it ends where some banana plants are, and look what I found following the water's path. They're certainly not the best cared for, I know that, but it's a blessing from God to be able to enjoy all that the earth offers to those of us who work it with all the faith in the world.

is that a corn tree?
