This morning, after yesterday's heavy rains, I went to check on the plants I have at my grandmother's house, and I got an unpleasant surprise when I saw the eggplant plant broken, as if it had been done on purpose. But I don't think so; perhaps an animal did it, since the dogs are always around there. But since I'm not sure, I couldn't say anything, just lower my head and start over. As you may know, these plants can be cut and grow back, so that's exactly what I did with my machete. I cut it down, and now I have to wait again.

So at that moment I noticed other flowers were sprouting, which could have become eggplants. It's frustrating, but unfortunately, there's nothing I can do but keep going because that's what life is about: always trying until you achieve your goal. I have the opportunity to keep going, and we're never here to give up, but always to stand firm.

I'm signing off, but not before thanking everyone for the support I receive here in the #hivegarden community. Lately, the news hasn't been so positive, but that's going to change in the coming days or weeks; I'm 100% sure of it.
I’m sorry to hear about your eggplant. Gardening is so challenging especially when unexpected things happen. I’m sure your plant will recover and better days are ahead.
