Hello my dear Hivers of the @hivegarden community. I hope you're all well and safe.
The weather recently is always cloudy during daytime and rains in the afternoon. So, this morning I went to visit our vegetable garden to see how the the plants are doing.

When I went to the garden, the weather has definitely affected the plants' condition. I saw the ginger's leaves wilting maybe due to too much water. Moreso may be because it is planted directly in the ground and not in a pot.

The purple colored chili also looks gloomy. The leaves were only few left and the fruits were shrinking and wilting. It's tree has become so thin. It's evident it's not doing well and I don't know if it can be healthy again.

The alugbati looks not good also. The leaves turned yellow and it looks thin. I think the rainy weather really had token a toll on it. Too much water is also not good for this vegetable.

On the other hand, I saw the squash growing better. It has climb to the body of a dead tree, some went to the gumamela (hibiscus) flower and some went to the lemon grass.

I found it has some flowers already. Indicating it's soon to have a fruit. I went from forward looking for more flowers and to my surprise, I found a better sight.

The squash has already bore a fruit! Not just one, but two! And may be there is still other fruit I have not seen. I didn't have the chance to look for more because I hurriedly went back home as it started to rain again.

I will have to visit it again later to see if there are more squash fruits in the garden. It just felt fulfilling seeing the plants bearing fruits.

I also hope the weather gets better soon so the vegetables gets better also. Hopefully, the squash fruits also survive and may grow big so we can harvest it soon.

That's all for today. Thank you for reading this far. Til my next post!

That’s really the problem when it rains too much the plants get damaged. It’s the same with my jute plants; the leaves have fallen off. I hope your vegetables recover soon, especially the lemongrass since it’s also sensitive when the soil is too wet.
