I never gardened in Colorado but we're in Denmark now and absolutely anything will grow here! We dabbled with a few things this summer. Next year will be even more amazing, I think. The picture of yours is a nice inspiration.

That's amazing. But not in winter, surely? Ain't it cold??
Yeah, it's bizarre. It does feel cold and it's more humid here than Colorado but it's probably around 40 degrees still. (Not sure because I'm continually confused by the celsius .)
P.S. I just realized that it was a different post where I commented on our roses still growing in winter. doh! This is why I posted the photo. But it is bizarre to have roses in December. I took this picture two days ago.
