You can talk about or share ANYTHING - but if you're stuck, try this week's midweek theme is FIRST OF THE SEASON.
Tell us about the first sign of spring, autumn - is it a planted bulb? A fallen leaf? The first seeds in the ground? The first leaf budding?
Of course, you can write a post about it too if you like.
This is meant to be a relaxed midweek garden conversation, so feel free to:

I'm just exploring plantnet.org to recognize these... now I have a better idea! :)
other than that I've brought my cacti/ succulent collection outside, because we now have the warmer nights above freezing... ;)
This is one of my favorite houseplants. Not sure what it is though.
plantnet.org says: Tradescantia cerinthoides/ fluminensis
My mom loves cacti. I couldn't tell you the exact species, but they're definitely beautiful. What I love most is that they don't need much watering and they don't grow very large, so we can keep them at home as cool decorations.
yes, exactly! they're cool ;)
Cacti are my favorite plants
I think they're great to add pattern and colour - I used to think they were daggy (not trendy) because my Nana used to grow them and sell them at the market!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts here on Gardening Wednesdays, thanks to @gardenhive.
Today I have some photos of sweet pepper plants I have in a seed tray. As you can see, it's just the beginning because they're growing and the space is getting small, so now I need to find small plastic cups to put them in individually with a little soil so they can continue developing. This will give me some time to find the right spot to plant them in, and well, maybe I'll see the fruits in a few months, maybe four at most. From today, I could start harvesting the sweet peppers to give our meals that extra aroma and flavor.
It's hard work because I'm starting from seed, but in the end, it's a personal satisfaction to be able to do it all myself.
That's a lot of pepper seedlings! I am just about to start my pepper seedlings. I'll start a few extra, but I really only need one of each variety. Shishito, Italian sweets, and lemon jalapeno. That's it!
These are the same kind of sweet peppers, since I don't really like spicy ones; it's just to add some flavor to the meals we prepare here at home.
Definitely satisfying! Have you tried using egg cartons? I need a better soil mix for seeds as they never seem to develop past the first set of leaves which is depressing. They seem to grow better straight in the ground.
I'm in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, 800 miles from my garden. One might think I had no current shots of my garden. Au contraire! I brought this bit of my garden, my indoor-grown lettuces, with me. Never leave home without lettuce!
erg. can't get photos to upload today!! But it's of a tray of mixed lettuces, thriving in a south window of my daughter's house.
Only you!
Possibly. My housesitter complained about my having left her "a bazillion" seedlings to water while I was with you, so I had to bring most of them with me. I left her a few so that I will have lettuce when I return. The farmers markets are not open in Nashville yet, so I absolutely had to bring lettuce with me. Had to!
I thoguht of you the other day when I picked lettuce! Big tip: wash carefully. Soil and salad don't mix :P
I put hours into the garden today.. I planted peas.. 4 different types of onions.. lettuce, spinach and s entire section of wildflowers.. took zero pictures.. but here's a picture of a house plant that got repotted today..
Ha I do that, spend hours doing stuff but forget to bust out the phone for Hive...good work! What wildflowers did you plant? Flowers have definitely got more popular as people realise it helps their veggies too..
