Starting My Dream Backyard Garden: Herbs, Flowers, Vegetables and Peaceful Family Life

Hello my fellow gardener and farmer here on Hive garden.

For a along time, I have been dreaming of having a beautiful and productive backyard garden. A small space where I can plant vegetables, flowers and herbs that my family can enjoy every day. It may sound like a simple dream, but for me, it is something important.

One of the vegetables I really want to grow in my garden is butternut squash. It is one of my favorite vegetables the taste is different when I cook it as a dish for our meals. It has a natural sweetness and a soft texture that makes the dish more delicious. That is why I decided to plant this variety in our backyard.

I ordered different kinds of seeds online because I want to slowly build my little garden. I ordered seeds of lettuce, cucumber, petchay, bokchoy, carrots, corn and many more. I also included some flowering plants like petunia, celosia and different varieties of portulaca. I love the idea of mixing vegetables and flowers in one garden. Vegetables will give us fresh food, while flowers will bring beauty and color to the place.

In my mind, I always imagine how peaceful it would be. When I wake up in the morning. I would go outside with a warm cup of coffee and sit quietly while looking at the plants growing in my backyard. The fresh air, the green leaves, and the colorful flowers would make the morning feel calm and refreshing.

Another reason why I want this garden is for practical reasons. If someday we don't have any food prepared. I can simply walk outside and harvest vegetables from teb garden. And if my family or neighbors needs vegetables, I would be happy to share some of what I have grown. It's a simple way of helping others.

But honestly, life has been very busy lately. There are many responsibilities at home and with work. Sometimes I want to plant, but I feel tired, especially when the weeds start growing everywhere. My husband is also very busy working on the farm. He leaves early in the morning and comes home very tired in the evening because he also takes care of many crops. Because of that, he cannot always help me with my backyard garden.

Still this dream remains in my heart and plans. Even if it grows slowly, I hope that this year I can finally make my backyard garden come to life. A simple garden where I can stay every morning with a cup of coffee and harvesting fresh vegetables and flowers blooming around. That is the peaceful life I dream of. Thank you for reading my story!
