Hello my fellow gardeners!
As a mom, farmer and nature lover, one of the most important things I look for in a school is the environment. I want it to be safe, clean, and close to nature and plants. I believe children learn better when they feel happy and comfortable in their surroundings.

My child is only doing a sit-in at this daycare center, but even in that short time, I got to experience something memorable. I am happy because I also became part of building the school garden.
Before the school evaluation, parents were invited to help prepare the garden. Since my child stays there for sit-in, I also joined. It was a simple activity, but it felt meaningful. We helped plant different kinds of plants and arranged them nicely around the garden.
When I look at the garden now, I feel proud because I know I helped, even in a small way.

What I really love are the mayana plants. There are many varieties with different colors red, green, and mixed shades. They are very eye catching and make the garden look alive. I enjoyed planting them and seeing how they added beauty to the place. The evaluators were amazed and gave a high score with our center.

While I was looking at them, I thought of bringing some home. I wanted to ask for a small cutting so I can plant it in our house too. But I forgot to ask that day because I got busy. Next time, I will make sure to remember.
Another thing I like in the garden is the creativity. We used plastic bottles as flower pots. Instead of throwing them away, we turned them into something useful and beautiful. It is simple, but it really adds charm to the garden.
This experience made me realize that a beautiful place does not need to be expensive. With teamwork, effort, and simple ideas, we can create something special.

As a mom, I feel happy knowing that my child is in a place where the environment is cared for. It is not only about learning inside the classroom, but also about appreciating nature.

Being part of this garden made me feel more connected to the school. It is not just a place for my child, but also a place where I shared my time and effort.
Thank you for reading my story! This is my own picture, the lead photo was edited in Canva And next time, I will not forget. I will ask for that mayana plant! Have a nice day!
