Got Bananas and yam

On my way home today, I met with one of my friends who stayed at the community. He had earlier told me that some of his neighbours always gave him yam whenever they go to farm, some will give him fish and plantains.

I lived in the school premises, so, I'm not really close to where my fellow workers lives. We work for the same school but most of my co-workers lived in the village among the dwellers while I stayed within the school blocks because I was offered accommodation.

Today, as I met one of the staff, he asked me to come and collect some yams that he has more than enough tubers of yam. They were all gifted to him.

He gave me three big tubers of yam and banana. I was so happy i went out today.

Last week, one of the teachers told us that if we are interested in farming, we can come meet with him so he can give us a portion of land iut of the school area of lands before raining season began so we can invest in farming as permitted by the school authorities.

I'm so interested in getting the free offer of land for farming so, I'm going to get down with business before the month runs out.

I might likely plant yams because it's one of my favourite food.
