Peace lily, cradle of Moses or white flag are names to identify a beautiful plant, which has gained popularity for its rapid growth, for being one of the favorite flowers to make arrangements in flower shops, it is also not demanding when it comes to be cared for, but we must ensure that the light does not hit it directly because it burns the leaves. In addition, it must be watered when the soil is dry because when the roots are waterlogged they rot.
It is an indoor plant that can be planted directly into the ground but can also be kept in water, it should be noted that the water should be changed every two weeks. It is advisable to apply fertilizer to stimulate growth and flowering.
The flowers have a very particular shape, in the center has a kind of spike protected by a white leaf, blooms almost all year round. The white flowers make a perfect contrast with the bright green leaves, adding to the beauty of the plant.
A question came to my mind, why my Moses Cradle plant is not as beautiful as you are, I think I have failed in the supply of nutrients as it influences the growth and flowering. With this motivation I am going back to the to take care of my plant, since I want to see them as beautiful as the ones in the mall. I am anxious that the time passes and the new cares to the plant I can see the change in the leaves as well as in the flowers.
While walking through the Sambil shopping mall in Barquisimeto, Lara state, Venezuela, I was struck by the natural beauty of the plants that adorn the gardens of the center known as Cradle of Moses, it was so striking by the contrast of bright green leaves and white flowers that I immediately captured the images to share with the community.
