RE: Cultivating the offspring of my prickly pear cactus (Esp/Eng)

All cacti have their flowering times, in fact there are some that flower once every seven years and some azuzenas have flowering times as well. I remember having just such a cactus when I lived in Argentina and had a big garden. I didn't have them in pots but in the ground but they also had many offspring and I had to separate them, to do the same work as you.

The thorns are quite prickly I will tell you but you have done an excellent job. I don't think the flowering is temperature dependent, it's a matter of time and you'll see how beautiful it is. The bad thing is that the flower doesn't last long, but it's one of the prettiest there is. Great job! A big hug!🤗

Todos los cactus tienen sus tiempos para la floración, de hecho hay algunos que florecen una vez cada siete años y algunos tiempos de azucenas también. Recuerdo haber tenido ese cactus precisamente, cuando vivía en Argentina y tenía un gran jardín. No los tenía en maceta sino en el suelo pero también tenían muchos hijos y tenía que separarlos, hacer el mismo trabajo que vos.

Las espinas pinchan bastante te diré pero has hecho un excelente trabajo. No creo que la floración dependa de la temperatura, es cuestión de tiempo y verás que hermosa es. Lo malo es que la flor dura poco, pero es de las más bonitas que hay. Gran trabajo!! Un gran abrazo!🤗
