The Devil Within: A Playable Movie!

Hey gamers, how are you? I hope everyone is doing well this weekend and keep playing a lot! I downloaded a new game I've been dying to play, and it's The Devil Within, the first installment. I have both titles thanks to Epic, so after finishing this first game, you'll probably see me playing the second part. So, well, lots to say. First, I had to redo the recording three times before I could write. The first time, I didn't record, the second time I recorded halfway, and the third time, well, as they say, was the charm, so let's get started.

Without any expectations, I started playing this amazing game, which so far has left me very surprised. The first thing I noticed when going into the settings is that it has a 60 FPS mode and a 30 FPS mode, and this will make a difference in the game's aesthetics. At 60 FPS, we'll enjoy it like a modern game, but at 30 FPS, the game will take on a movie-like aesthetic, something that will suit it very well. I noticed this the second time I played it, as I realized that the game has two black bars in the classic style of some movies when playing, so it will be an aesthetic that will suit it particularly well.

The presentation is quite intriguing and very well developed. It immediately introduces you to the story and leaves you wondering about the characters. You only know that they are detectives who are going to investigate a murder, but nothing more, that's it, so the intrigue is quite great. From what I understand, the entire story of the game and the context is based on this case, since after the presentation, we reach the point of the homicide investigation.

Here it all begins and starts to get murky and quite gory. All at once, and with nothing to hide, we see a number of corpses in the hospital. Immediately afterward, our partner finds a survivor. We quickly approach the survivor and, in addition, take the opportunity to investigate the security cameras. These cameras show a rather disturbing and unrecognizable image for the detective, while a surprise attacker appears.

The next scene literally shows us a human carnage. It's been a while since I saw a game of this style. It reminded me a lot of Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I think it has a very classic horror aesthetic, in a modern style, so to speak. This is what I mean by the graphics. So this is where the film aesthetic comes into its own. It really gives it an exquisite horror film touch. Personally, I really like this genre of gore and horror, so the work of the conceptual artists is appreciated.

As far as I've played, the game has been pure stealth and escape. I haven't been able to attack effectively, and I've only been able to escape from the enemy. In fact, I ended up right in a part where I have to sneak around without being seen. This is one of those games where you have to be patient and learn to enjoy the process of waiting and analyzing the enemy's movements. You might die more than once, but it helps you learn the enemy's mechanics to solve the puzzle.

It's definitely an interesting game that offers challenges and at the same time has a great aesthetic that is offset by active mechanics. I hope you like this post. If you've played the game or would like to, let me know. See you!

The way The Devil Within presents gaming and cinema through a playable movie is really amazing to me. Especially its graphics quality and storyline are very amazing. I didn't know about this kind of game but today I found out through your post. I hope I will play it in the future. There is one more thing. You have presented the essence of this game very beautifully that I liked it. I hope to get more such posts from you.

I guess the challenge of this game is being patience as most of the hard things alot of folks is still learning even in real life is patient, its good a game has adopted the lesson to remind the players of what being patience is all about
