Veleka Beach

These days, my friends and I are at the mouth of the Veleka River - the place where the river flows into the Black Sea. This is one of the most beautiful beaches on our Black Sea coast for me and I always come here with great pleasure and impatience.

There's a special vibe to this place. You almost feel like you're in a timelessness.

In the late afternoon there were still people on the beach and some practicing water sports on the river side. Volleyball was being played on the sand. No one was going into the sea because there was a very strong wind and the waves were high.

We had a wonderful walk, enjoying the incredibly beautiful natural views that unfolded on both sides of us.
