Santolina in our garden
Santolina is blooming in our garden.
When I planted it it was a tiny plant in a mini pot, and now after 3 years it is a wide bush that blooms in bright yellow flowers.
This low bush is strongly fragrant and very charming. It is known for repelling insects, especially mosquitoes, and for this reason repellents are made from it.

My santolina survived the winter this year in New England. Usually it doesn't. It's also flowering now.
