Ending the year with some fountain fun at Westend

it being New Year's Eve, later tonight there will be plenty of fireworks but in the meantime how about splashing away the old year with some fun waterworks. The location for this festive occasion is the awesome fountain outside the entrance to Westend shopping mall in Budapest.

this woman must have gone inside to dry off and enjoy her coffee under a roof with more relaxing surroundings

maybe there's an after Christmas sale or maybe this woman is exchanging a gift that didn't quite fit or just wanted to change the color. i can't say but i do i hope whatever she was carrying didn't get soaked

these two seem totally unfazed by the downpour like it's not even there-

and their hair is completely dry

i don't think this couple (i presume they're a couple) has any idea what is about to hit them

but when it did he started to sneeze and i what in the world did she take out and hold in her hand

and then suddenly it started pouring down cats and dogs. good thing he had that towel

now this guy's choice of partners is at best questionable. i mean what was he thinking when they met. i can't even imagine what the choice of pronouns are for someone like this

this guy may look like a typical city delivery guy but trust me, he is anything but. just look what happened when he met this woman on the street pushing a stroller.now maybe she is not as innocent as she appears, i can't say for sure, but whoever she is and whatever is in that stroller, this guy instantly transformed into a monster out of some outrageously wet horror comedy

and seemed to explode on the spot. i wanted to run off but i was so concerned for the woman that i stuck around to see what happened next. fortunately it all went well for her, all things considered. i mean even if he never laid a hand on her she could have collapsed just from the shock of it all but somehow she managed just fine. it was as if nothing had happened other than they passed each other on the street. so all is well that ends well. and with that i want to express how thankful i am for the year that has passed and wish all a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026
