Belarus. September 2026. In April this year, I decided to visit Belarus in autumn to see its autumn beauty. I wanted to see the countryside, forests, fields, and meadows. Basically, I got what I wanted from this trip.
In the spring, my daughter and son-in-law went to Belarus with their children. I didn't go with them because there's no room for me in the car now. That's why I decided to go on an organized tour alone in September. Such a trip has pros and cons. The main advantage is that I'm not driving, and I can relax and even have alcohol. This is a big plus; the round trip is almost 4 thousand km.

Another advantage is the professional guides who know the history and tell interesting stories about the places we visit. When I visit places like this with children, we don't book an excursion. There are audio guides now, but a living person's story is much more interesting and enjoyable!

During the trip, one woman said, "I need an organized tour so that I don't have to think about the hotel and the way to move between locations." This is also a plus.
And what can be attributed to the downside? The only thing is that the locations have already been agreed upon and we cannot choose others. This is a disadvantage, of course, but we have to choose a tour with the route we need in advance.
I chose this particular route this time. One of the places we visited was the village of Sula. An unusual village, but a "historic ancient castle".

One of my rules before traveling is not to study the place of visit in detail in advance in order to see for yourself and get the first impression of pleasure.

That's how it works. What awaits me at the gates of this fortress castle? What can I see in this place anyway? It's still a mystery to me. Anyway, it was a mystery to me when I took this photo.
And I'll tell you this secret next time.

The most important thing that Russians notice in Belarus is cleanliness everywhere. Yes, I saw the leaves lying under the tree, but at the end of the walk they were gone, they had already been removed. Cleanliness of streets, roads, footpaths and surrounding areas.
