This week, I would like to take a break from my photos from India and share a photo I took during my visit to Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden in Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar. I have shared photos from Pyin Oo Lwin before, but I have only just started sharing photos from Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden.

Since these are photos of the Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden, I will add a little bit of history. The Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden was previously called the National Botanical Garden. It was renamed to the current name, Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden, on December 1, 2000.

This park was started in 1915 during the British colonial era and was officially recognized by the British colonial government in 1917. The park is large and has many species of trees and some species of animals preserved as a protected forest. It is very spacious and beautiful with various flowers, and the fresh air is refreshing. It is a place that is visited by many not only domestic tourists but also foreign tourists.

ဒီတပတ်မှာတော့ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံက ဓာတ်ပုံတွေကို ခေတ္တနားပြီးတော့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၊ ပြင်ဦးလွင်မြို့၊ ကန်တော်ကြီး အမျိုးသား ရုက္ခဗေဒဥယျာဉ်ကို ‌ရောက်ခဲ့စဉ်က ရိုက်ယူထားတဲ့ ဓာတ်ပုံကို မျှဝေပေးချင်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်အနေနဲ့ ပြင်ဦးလွင်က ဓာတ်ပုံတွေကို မျှဝေပေးခဲ့ဖူးပေမယ့် ကန်တော်ကြီး အမျိုးသားရုက္ခဗေဒဥယျာဉ်ရဲ့ ဓာတ်ပုံကတော့ အခုမှ စတင်မျှဝေဖြစ်တာပါ။

ကန်တော်ကြီး အမျိုးသား ရုက္ခဗေဒဥယျာဉ်ဓာတ်ပုံတွေဆိုတော့ သမိုင်းအကြောင်းတော့ နည်းနည်းလောက်ထည့်ရေးပါအုံးမယ်။ ကန်တော်ကြီး အမျိုးသား ရုက္ခဗေဒဥယျာဉ်ကို အရင်က အမျိုးသား ရုက္ခဗေဒဥယျာဉ်လို့ခေါ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ၂၀၀၀ ပြည့်နှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ(၁)ရက်နေ့တွင် ယခုအမည်ဖြစ်တဲ့ ကန်တော်ကြီး အမျိုးသား ရုက္ခဗေဒဥယျာဉ်ဟု ပြောင်းလဲခေါ်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါတယ်။

ဒီဥယျာဉ်ကို ဗြိတိသျှ ကိုလိုနီလက်ထက် ၁၉၁၅ခုနှစ်မှာ စတင်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပြီး ၁၉၁၇ ခုနှစ်မှာ ဗြိတိသျှ ကိုလိုနီအစိုးရက တရားဝင်အသိအမှတ်ပြုခဲ့တယ်လို့သိရှိရပါတယ်။ ဒီဥယျာဉ်ကြီးက ကျယ်ဝန်းပါတယ်။ သစ်ပင်မျိုးစိတ်များစွာကိုသာမက တိရိစ္ဆာန်မျိုးစိတ်အချို့ကိုလည်း ဘေးမဲ့သစ်တောအဖြစ် ထိန်းသိမ်းကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ထားပါတယ်။ အလွန်ကျယ်ပြန့်ပြီး ပန်းမျိုးစုံနဲ့လှပနေတဲ့အပြင် သန့်ရှင်းလတ်ဆတ်တဲ့လေကိုရှုရှိုက်ရတဲ့အတွက် စိတ်ကိုကြည်လင်စေနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ပြည်တွင်းခရီးသွားတွေသာမက နိုင်ငံခြားခရီးသွားတွေပါ အများအပြားလာရောက်လည်ပတ်တဲ့ နေရာတစ်ခုလည်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
