It's August! Last Summer Thoughts (and the HPUD)

Dear Hivers!

Tired of the summer heat, honestly, everyday looks the same and we all sweat the same too. One day, another, and one more time. As always we realize that is the first day of a new month although nothing seems to change. But all changes and the months go by, already passed, and one more time, time flies.

And it's time to look at the calendar again and all we can do is continue to take advantage of the long sunny days to cool off, and also to reflect with the breeze, the fan or the air conditioning, somewhere cool, whether it's a pool or the beach, right? Well, let's reflect on what we've just left behind and what's coming now, changes?

Last Thoughts And The Last Time?

I'm here, exactly one month later. It seems a habit right? ;)

And as we were saying, it's time to sweat, to fan ourselves, and to gaze at the sea, at the horizon, and thus enjoy ourselves, but we can also reflect, as we also mentioned. And that's what I've been doing.

And what have I been reflecting on? Well, among other things, on life and on Hive as well, and on this HPUD that I've been involved with for so long. A few weeks ago, talking with a friend here on Hive, she told me about the organization of Hive, how they work, what they're doing, and although the project is good and was promising, now I think it's a little less so, simply because of the way it's being approached, according to some users' opinions. And also, consequently, some users have stopped feeling valued here, and the circle is shrinking in a way, which is a shame. Maybe with a different perspective, despite the fluctuations of this crypto world, it could be a better project, for everyone, in my opinion. I don't know...

Well, what to do? Is it time to change course? In any case, I was going to do it again next month, in September, when I have to return to my real routine. I'm focusing on myself and my priorities, and unfortunately, Hive is almost just a game now. It always has been, although at first it seemed like it could be something more serious, but then it wasn't anymore, and I haven't achieved anything more than my own enthusiasm, meeting friends, sharing photos, and writing, expressing myself as I wanted, that's already a lot. But in recent months, the feelings have changed, as have the pace, the motivations, etc., and many acquaintances are no longer around. What's the point of doing this? What do I gain? Yes, well, time is dedicated to it; I do, quite a lot, preparing each post, for example, and it has been good, I enjoyed it a lot, but now, not so... and time is more appreciated in a different way. Nowadays what's more satisfying for me? The answer isn't what many here would like to hear, and thanks to my friend, I've been able to think about it in depth, another reason that confirms, in reality, my decision.

And my decision is to do one last Power Up now in the summer, relaxing and wishing for the best, until who knows when... then I'll continue with my stake, checking in from time to time but not dedicating much time to it; that's for other important things. And we'll see, maybe everything will change again, and we'll all come back motivated, who knows...

Even in astrological terms, for those interested, it's also a time of change right now, with the Barbault basket, the Aquarius full moon, upcoming eclipses, planets in retrograde, and many planets in new signs. Let's not be afraid of change, rebirth, or the future. We must make room for new things as well. That's life and crypto world has taught us a lot about change.

What I do know is that I like the sea, but I almost prefer the beach in autumn or winter, and also other places to explore, like distant, unusual, or different beaches, so with the heat here, I think how cool it must be, for example, on Belgian beaches, yes, in Belgium, jaja, like this one in Ostende. Different view, different horizon, and different feeling; this time is another sea, no Mediterranean but the North Sea!

Hive Power Up Day

Well I have to say that despite all I keep somehow my presence here, at least a bit, and now today, day 1st of the new month let's focus on the HPUD, it is therefore my 44th Power Up Day in total since I am on Hive. In my case it is the 8th of 2026 obviously now in June, after January, February, March, April, May, June, July and August of course. Let's finish in summer and vacation time.

So let's go with this new Hive Power Up Day, hivers!💪

Unlike previous months, I've decided to do a bigger Power Up, 100 HP again! It's a good way to finish my habit to join HPUD every single month since... a lot of time, 44 months in a row!

That's a lot but everything has an end, right? That's life, and life is always changing. Hope things will be different, and hope also good for the Hive's future, we will see. In any case, I will be here behind the screen and still supporting the project in other ways, but I prefer to free my focus and habits a bit more, to be more focused on my life and life priorities, on what's really worthy, I'm afraid but it's the truth.

So we conclude this usual report, mission accomplished, this time, reflecting and with some calm! Good!

Finally, I wish you all the best and also for Hive, that it may return to its former glory, that it may rise again and give us more motivation and hope to continue here, with much more to come. And for now I just want the summer to finish because it's always too hot and that makes me be less productive in general and it's siomehow boring after so many weeks like this, but still some free days to enjoy and some beach moments!🤞🏖️
