^{🔸In Donaueschingen *1 , the Danube officially begins with the confluence of the Brigach and the Breg, while the Breg near Furtwangen *2 is considered the actual source (image: the source with the river god Danuvius). From this inconspicuous trickle grows one of Europe’s great rivers.
🔸In Donaueschingen *1 beginnt die Donau offiziell mit dem Zusammenfluss von Brigach und Breg, doch als eigentliche Quelle gilt die Breg bei Furtwangen *2 (Bild: die Quelle mit den Flussgott Danuvius). Hier wächst aus einem unscheinbaren Rinnsal einer der größten Flüsse Europas.}

🔸Durch diesen Eingang betritt man das Alte Schloss von Neustadt an der Aisch, errichtet im 15. Jahrhundert unter Kurfürst Albrecht Achilles. Ein Ort mit Geschichte – einst Wasserschloss, Nebenresidenz und Witwensitz.}
