I was lucky to take these photos. So many cormorants. Very cute birds. They are so big. Some are sitting in a tree, and some are flying.
Cormorants are seabirds. They live near the sea, as well as on lakes and near rivers. They love water. They catch fish. They love fish. They also live in swamps.
There are great cormorants and Japanese cormorants. They are about the size of a duck or goose. They are quite large birds.
They feed on fish. They mainly catch anchovies, capelin, and other fish. They also eat mollusks and crustaceans. When they live in swamps, they eat toads, snakes, and other creatures.
They build their nests in trees out of branches and grass.
