Yeah, some regulations do feel a bit over the top at times.
Not long ago I got pulled over and ended up getting a lecture about how dangerous an unsecured bag could be in the event of an accident. The funny part was that the bag was behind a solid partition wall, completely separated from the driver's area. 😄
