Almost a Selfie

How two furry friends tried to capture their friendship.

I met them when I was visiting a friend at his house in the countryside. They were nearly inseparable — playing together between meals and naps, and even tried to stage a photo of themselves! That’s when they needed me.

The puppy’s name was Lucky. He grew up and now guards the house.

The kitten’s name was Peach. A couple of years ago, he wandered off — and never came back.

Still, these cheerful pictures remain, reminding me of them.
