I woke before 4am yesterday to the sound of the rain pounding down outside. Checked the doppler to see the big mass HEAD RIGHT FER US! It dumped for the next hours.

By 7:30 we had .73" in the gauge with more falling. We have seriously needed the moisture but it was not the best thing for the burn scars that were under flash flood watches.

Figures Utd would lose to City. Despite being a man up, they still failed. THAT'S the Utd I know.

Printed out a new mount for my bike head light. I needed to attach the Garmin twist lock 90 degrees from the first one I printed so that I can use just the twist lock on the bike attachment and not the gopro style attachment. This one won't allow the light to move in the vertical plane and will stay on the road out in front of me and NOT lighting my front wheel.

It was a lazier day after the effort of the triathlon Saturday. I had little motivation to do much. We got some nice bouts of sun during the day but the clouds kept streaming over shading us out for a while. I got some of the shelves cleaner in the living room as I sort the stuff that can go to storage and staged it on the deck. Still need to sort the board games and make a place on the shelves in the Tardis to store the 50+ year old ones.

Hit the greenhouse and got a nice little harvest. Cucumbers are nearing the end of their run for the year and have about until the end of the month most likely. The peppers are going good and the tomatoes just won't stop.

Then the rains returned in the evening and gave us some really good down pours.

Today is clear as will be the rest of the week. Today I get the boys to school in an hour then load tools in the car and head down to do a stair removal job. Haul off may be fun but I think I might be able to fit it all in the trunk of the sled. Tomorrow is J's first xc meet which will be at a school 6 miles away.
