Despite the many changes I am making in my life I am still not sleeping as late as I need, the 4am time is still glaring at me each morning. Yesterday was the same as today...
At least the storms are fading and we got a warmer day with no rain.

The UK open is going on and a lot of really good matches went on. RVB actually won a match then got totally spanked in his next. 8 boards going on at once and the finals will be today with Littler and Humphries looking strong for the win.

After my longest ride Thursday I wanted to get out for a more mellow ride. I actually took the time to remove the rear rack I had installed since I won't be needing my Panniers really soon. While doing so I noticed my tires said to inflate to 40-60 psi...
I went out on my ride and HOLY SHIT did the tire pressure increase help! So much faster, easier to ride, and a bit lighter without the rack.

I really was just going for 10+ miles so did a rather circuitous path through the neighborhood south of the lake. A bit over halfway I saw a stand in front of a house with fresh baked breads!!!! I had no cash so couldn't stop but I now know where to look in the future. The bags looked SOOOOO good with the steam coating the inside showing their freshness...
I had been home a bit, cooled down, then got a bit at the board. 2nd visit gave me this... Wired the 3rd bull, so close!

My bike computer gave me fits on the ride as I had it attached to the rear tire. I moved it to the front fork and it works WAY better now and is a lot more solid of a mount.

While cooling down I also did a bit of looking for rides this year and found the Lilac Century ride which takes place mere miles from the farm. There is a 25, 50, 61, and 100 mile paved routes and a 32 mile gravel route. I am looking at the 50 mile for my first "race" or organized ride. I have until May 17th to be in proper form for it.
My guitar practice is doing good and I am managing to get my strumming a lot better. I've got a good dozen chords memorized so now need to start working on putting them all together in various songs.
My afternoon was taken up with removing pine needles from my garlic rows. Now that it is full Spring they need the space to grow nice and big for me.

Appears I missed some garlic last year during harvest and they have popped right back to this year!

1/3 of the total garlic uncovered.

Then I had to build myself a needle cage out of a trio of pallets. I wheelbarrowed the needles to the cage and dumped them in. I managed to get 3 rows freed but still have another few rows to go.

R has been constructing a cookie dough igloo. it took him quite a while to get it done and had to keep putting it in the freezer to harden so it was not mushy.

The tube containers came out great and this gives me a set of 4 now. The one I have as my med kit on my bike is working perfectly.

Up stupid early as normal today. We will be heading down to Spokane mid morning so I can buy the cycling shoes then will go out to breakfast before heading to the wrestling tournament at G Prep where R has double elimination matches. His bracket is already set and he won't wrestle until about 1pm or so.
