I got to the brewery at 5:30am yesterday morning and had a massive load of grain to load. 5 barrels, a half, and a bit in a half.

The moon was a tiny sliver in the morning sky.

The dark side was still visible next to the little sliver.

It took me 20 minutes to get all the grain loaded into the trailer, which it really just barely fit. I had to mound it high to make it all fit.

Heading for home the fog was laying in various low areas and looked pretty cool.

Drove through some super dense fog by the interchange then in and out of it all the way home.

Backed the trailer into the pen and then had to shovel all the grain again. Well over a ton of grain got spread out for the sheep and alpaca.

This time of year the breweries are brewing big beers, higher abv which requires a larger grain bill. After 2 days in a row of heavy lifting I chose to take the rest of the day much easier.

I ended up getting a pair of jobs lined up, one for today and one for tomorrow. Both are mellow. As I was heading off the deck one time in the mid morning I saw our aloe spider sitting farther out the web. It is nice and fat and has been eating very well. The bug catch is mounted above it so it likely benefits.

More cucumbers, a few tomatoes, and a few peppers were ready in the greenhouse.

R got home from school, then I picked J up after practice. I then got dinner going in the instapot and while it was cooking R managed to fall asleep on the floor with the cat. I am pretty sure the oche is not a comfortable pillow...

Watched the Seahawks manage the win for the first NFL game of the season. Kinda a shit show but they got the win. Bed called me shortly after it ended.

Boys to school soon then I have my job to get to. It will be an hour job most likely then I will stop at Harbor Freight to get a new chainsaw bench sharpener and extra discs. Mine is not in great shape after years of use and they are only $35. I probably should stop at Costco for a couple things on the way home as well... Will see how I feel.

Enjoy your trip to Costco my friend always an adventure Lol!!😇
I will probably need to pick up an extra graining disc for my chainsaw grinder as well glad you reminded me have a great day!!👍😀
I see your animals are happy with all that grain. That spider looks beautiful on the aloe. An interesting day. Greetings!
My sheep at fatso from all the grain. Thankfully the spent brewing grain is already off gassed so they just need hay to moderate their own stomach such they rarely get bloat.
That sounds good for the animals.
