Those horses are big up close. This is the Canadian mounted police, so they're likely patrolling for any serious criminal activity because this trail is at the edge of the city with many visitors.
The ducks in the picture are Common Mergansers. I don't see them often, so that was neat.
You know what? I love horses, so when I saw the mounted police I was like... wow!
