Good morning everyone!
This morning, I woke up to the gentle fragrance of the pink roses and lilies blooming on my balcony. More lily buds have opened overnight, adding their delicate beauty to the morning and somehow filling the air with good vibes for the day ahead.

It is a wonderful day, the sun is shining, the sky is bright, and everything around me feels just right. There are no complaints, no drama, and nothing demanding my attention. For a moment, my mind is quiet, my heart feels light, and I find myself simply grateful for this peaceful little corner of life.

Right now, I am feeling fine. Looking back over the past three and a half years, however, I can honestly say that it felt like hell at times—with depression, health issues, and the financial and legal burdens that came with processing all the necessary documents after my husband’s death.

.
Today, I feel free from those burdens. I am learning to live my life again, taking things one day at a time and perhaps even revisiting my bucket list to see what I would still like to experience and accomplish in the years ahead.

I have always had a fear of water, so last year I decided to challenge myself and took scuba diving lessons in an effort to overcome it. The swimming and diving center is just a short walk from my flat, which makes it very convenient. I had to put my lessons on hold for a while because of my trip to Spain, but I am determined to resume them in the next few days. It feels good to face a fear rather than allowing it to limit me.
I am still finding my way and adjusting to life on my own. One of the things that helps me is staying active and joining cultural and social communities that give me opportunities to meet people and keep life interesting. I love learning new things because, to me, learning is a lifelong process. There is always something new to discover, whether it is a new skill, a new place, a new idea, or simply another perspective on life. And meeting like-minded people along the way makes the journey even more meaningful.

Perhaps happiness is not always found in grand moments. Sometimes, it is as simple as waking up to flowers, sunshine, and a peaceful mind.
And today, I have all three. 🌹☀️🌸

Guten Morgen!

When we can bravely say "i'm fine" now...so glad to hear that you're fine. Depression with some other issues are the worst enemy we can face and seriously, dealing with it is hard. Thank you for surviving those long hard years. Right now, for sure, appreciating all the beauties on our surroundings is much easier than before right ( ◜‿◝ ).
Hi glad to welcome you here on my blog. Yes, thank goodness I am fine now , really! With strong determination, life must go on. I can say I am healed from my depression, it's just that during those times, it was difficult to adjustbeing solo. But as days go by, my brain is working little by little.
Your great flower photos reminded me of the period when I was publishing my daily Actifit reports with a lot of flower photos... I don't have my plants at home (my wife does), but I do like to photograph and enjoy wildflowers on the street, in the forest... Interestingly, I have a sensation that being close to flowers and enjoying them already heals our body and soul... and by reading your post and reflection, it looks like it does the same to you too!
Have a great weekend and continue challenging yourself, as you did with scuba diving!

Thank you so much. 😊
I’m really glad to read that you’re feeling lighter and enjoying life again. Taking things one day at a time and facing your fears sounds like such a beautiful way to move forward. I hope your diving lessons go really well. 🌸
Good morning, thanks a lot for visiting dear. I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog. Yes, at my advanced age, I need to move forward. I am a bit ok now, thanks once more!😊
Great to see you enjoying yourself again, and I am envious of your weather. Here in Scotland it has not really been a very good summer!
Right now it is not so hot anymore we are in the 30°C. It rained so much last night, so we had a cooler night.I didn't experience much of the Viennese summer since I was traveling and have visited my family in Manila for 6 weeks. Thank you so much for your lovely comment, hope you'll have a great new week..ciao!
I think Manila has been having rain too. You are so welcome and yea let's have a great new week!
