I went across the causeway to a very interesting place in Johor for a fun day trip with a group of friends.

我和一群朋友一起跨越长堤，来到了柔佛一个非常有趣的地方度过愉快的一天。

The place was ALAM Campsite.

那个地方叫ALAM露营地。

I had to take a selfie to record my presence in the less usual place for me.

我不得不自拍，记录自己在一个不太常见的地方的存在。

感谢组办队提供这张合影。

When we arrived at the site, we were given a plain batik kite (Wau) to paint.

当我们到达场地时，大家获赠了一个空白的传统风筝（Wau）来进行彩绘。

At first, I wasn't too sure what color scheme to use, so I actually asked Gemini for some inspiration!

刚开始我不太确定该用什么颜色，所以还特地问了 Gemini 寻求一点配色灵感！

Everyone gathered around the long wooden tables inside the open-air pavilion surrounded by greenery, painting very attentively.

大家聚在被绿植围绕的露天凉亭木桌旁，非常专注地为各自的风筝涂上色彩。

Look at me so focused with my paint brush! It was quite relaxing to just sit there and paint.

看看我拿着画笔多么专注！静静坐在那里画画感觉非常放松。

Mission completed.

任务完成。

As we finished one by one, the kites were laid out on a table to dry. Did you see mine?

我们一个个完成后，风筝被摆放在桌上晾干。看到我都没？

In the end, everyone was super happy with their completed artwork. We all stood together holding our colorful kites for a big group photo.

最后，大家都对自己的作品非常满意。大家拿着五彩缤纷的风筝合影留念。

Next mission, should I choose to accept it. Finished weaving a little basket.

下次任务，如果我选择接受的话。织好了一个小篮子。

We also had a chance to watch and participate in making fresh Ondeh-Ondeh on the spot. It is a rare chance to eat one as fresh as it gets, warm and packed with sweet gula melaka burst inside!

我们还有机会在现场观看并亲手制作新鲜的椰丝球（Ondeh-Ondeh）。能吃到刚做出来现煮的椰丝球真的很难得，一口咬下去满嘴都是香甜的热红糖！

Borrowed a grasshopper for a picture.

借了一只蚱蜢拍照。

Finally, lunchtime arrived! After all the kite painting and walk around the oil palm estate, having a nice hearty lunch hit the spot.

最后，终于到了午餐时间！在彩绘风筝和散步之后，享用一顿丰盛的午餐真的太爽了。

I had my share and was totally happy with it.

吃饱喝足，心里非常满足。

Last stop before going to next destination: toilet.

去下一个目的地：厕所前的最后一站。

Then hopped onto the bus with my new kite to go play some pickleball.

然后带着我的新风筝跳上公交车去打匹克球。
