RE: Government talks about banning petrol tuk tuks from Bangkok

I don't have much experience with these things but I learned very quickly on a trip in Bangkok that the drivers are not to be trusted. I ended up at an "art store" between my destinations without permission at all. The driver became aggressive towards us when we refused to go into the store.

It was fun up to that point though but yes, I don't think this sort of transport is needed anymore.
