Balkonowy ogródek 2026 - ostatnie dni lipca

My balcony garden has exceeded my wildest expectations this year. Although the spring was cold and the young seedlings lacked sun during their growing season, the results of my micro-growing are very satisfying.

Mój balkonowy ogródek w tym rok przerósł moje najśmielsze oczekiwania. Mimo, iż wiosna była zimna i brakowało słońca w okresie wegetacji młodych sadzonek, to efekt mikro hodowli jest bardzo zadowalający.

I've already counted about 150 tomatoes and about 50 different types of peppers. New flowers are appearing in both plants and they're still developing. If I had more space, the burning would be more industrial 😉

Naliczyłem już około 150 pomidorków, około 50 różnego rodzaju papryk. W obu przypadkach pojawiają się nowe kwiaty i dalej się zawiązują. Gdybym miał więcej miejsca, to spala byłaby już bardziej przemysłowa 😉

I'm most excited about the new arrivals: the Mexican cucumber, also known as the mouse melon, commonly known as the cucamelon, a miniature Mexican watermelon.

Najbardziej cieszą mnie nowości, czyli ogórek meksykański, zwany również mysim melonem, powszechnie znany jako cucamelon, meksykański arbuz miniaturowy.

This small fruit, no larger than a plum, has the flavor of a classic cucumber, but has a more tart flavor, reminiscent of lemon or lime.

To niewielkich rozmiarów owoc, nie większy niż śliwka węgierka o smaku klasycznego ogórek, ale bardziej kwaskawy przypominający cytrynę lub limonkę.

This year, I literally planted strawberries from scraps. I rooted leaves that were thrown away at the supermarket. I managed to produce seedlings and a few strawberries.

Truskawki w tym roku posadziłem dosłownie z odpadów. Ukorzeniłem liście, które zostały wyrzucone w markecie. Zdążyły powstać sadzonki i kilka truskawek.

Unfortunately, there have been some setbacks. Once again this year, my eggplant failed. I don't know what I'm doing wrong; it grows poorly until a certain point, then stops and doesn't produce any fruit.

Niestety są i niepowodzenia. Po raz kolejny w tym roku nie udał mi się bakłażan. Nie wiem co robię źle, źle rośnie do pewnego momentu a potem się zatrzymuje i nie owocuje.

My okra also failed this year. It has already started flowering (which is a success) and some fruit has formed, but unfortunately, they fell off.

Również okra nie udała mi się w tym roku. Co prawda zaczęła już kwitnąć (co jest sukcesem) i pojawiły się zawiązane owoce, ale niestety odpadły.

But I'm not giving up; I'll keep trying. I also planted watermelon for the second time; we'll see if it copes with the autumn climate.

Ale się nie poddaje, będę próbował dale. Posiałem również arbuza po raz drugi, zobaczymy czy da sobie radę w jesiennym klimacie.
