After heavy rain during May, the garden is all lush and green now.

I was just enjoying the evening when I heard a buzzing.

I had seen such a white spider last year, for the first time.
Maybe it's the same individual - not sure.
It caught a honey bee.
Without a net. It must have just waited inside the flower and then grabbed the bee.

The bee put up quite the fight, but the spider had a tight grip.

Eventually, the spider pulled that bee into the flower.
I made other pictures, but they came out bad.

I went to take some more pictures afterwards.
Chives in flower and Peony in the background.

This isn't the annual variant, but keeps coming back in this spot for many years

Keeps coming back, as pretty as ever.

One of my favourites.
They are good for the soil, binding nitrogen. But I like them mostly for their flowers.

I also planted a few things, but the rabbit ate all the beetroot tops.
It did nor touch the lettuce and parsley, though.

Next update will be more about vegetables.
Garlic harvest is soon.
I have a row of potatos, maize, some tomatos this year.
Pumkins and Zuccini are ready to be transplanted.
