Hattest du schon einmal eine Vollbremsung auf der Rollbahn?!Die Reise geht weiter, die Tradition bleibt. Eigentlich wollte ich gestern vor dem Abflug nach Wien noch einmal in die Tasten hauen, aber Zeit und Lust haben nicht mitgespielt...
...dafür heute, 05:33 Uhr, mal wieder am Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg.
„Einen Cappuccino, bitte!“ Ich war erstaunt, als die Dame sagte: „Bringe ich Ihnen an den Tisch.“ Herrlich – so viel Vertrauen in die Gäste um diese Uhrzeit. Tolles Service.
Der Kaffee selbst war, wie leider erwartet: WMF-Maschinenkaffee, solide und trinkbar, aber eben kein „Wow-Effekt“. Nun zur Geschichte, denn eigentlich sollte ich schon längst in Wien sein. Gestern um 18:10 Uhr hätte der Flieger landen sollen, doch ein Vogelschwarm zwang uns zu einer Notbremsung auf der Rollbahn. 100 % richtig gehandelt – wären wir da reingeflogen, würde ich diese Zeilen vielleicht gar nicht mehr schreiben ...
Hast du dir schon einmal überlegt, was passiert, wenn du plötzlich nicht mehr da bist? Durch meine vielen Jobs kenne ich viele Menschen nur "oberflächlich", meist online. Was wäre, wenn ich weg wäre? Auch hier auf Hive ... RIP @œbeeber – gerade erst daran erinnert und an sie gedacht. Wir kannten uns durch die Meet-ups in Graz, aber „kennen“ wäre zu viel gesagt – du verstehst?
Nach der Notbremsung ging es für mich ins Holiday Inn, um heute über Frankfurt nach Wien zu fliegen. Ganz ehrlich: etwas mühsam, direkt wäre es deutlich entspannter gewesen.Langer Text, kurzer Sinn: Es gibt News!

Gestern noch vor dem Abflug
Setze nie alles auf eine Karte. Auch wenn ich das beim BEClub22 mittlerweile gemacht habe, ist es klug, weitere Geldströme zu haben.
Die Frage, die ich mir immer wieder stelle: „Ob Hive jemals wieder richtig rockt?“ Ganz ehrlich unter uns: Ich tue einiges dafür – vom Hive-Wandertag über die Meet-ups bis hin zu meiner Aktivität hier.

Reicht dir das BlaBla schon? Ja es reciht, denn die Vollbremsung steckte mir in den Knochen. Als „MaydayMayday-Experte“, ging ich sofort in die „Brave Position“. Man weiß ja nie, was der Grund ist – habe schon zu viel auf YouTube gesehen.
Dafür gab es eine Nacht mehr, ich durfte viele nette neue Menschen kennenlernen und das Leben in vollen Zügen genießen. Jetzt? Nur noch müde ...

Have you ever considered what happens when you're suddenly gone? Through my many jobs, I know a lot of people only superficially, mostly online. If I were gone... even here on HIVE! RIP @œbeeber – just remembered. We knew each other through the meetups in Graz, but 'knew' is a strong word – you understand, right?
After the emergency stop, I ended up at the Holiday Inn, waiting to fly to Frankfurt today and then on to Vienna. Honestly, it’s a bit of a hassle; a direct flight would have been much more relaxed.

An emergency stop on the runway is like a scene from an action movie! Luckily, it's safe. I was on the edge of my seat imagining the situation; the pilot must have immediately gone into superhero mode. Those photos are really cool, they make me curious about the story behind them.
I am still alive - so all good. Still in Vienna
Start Abbruch hatte ich schon zweieinhalb mal. Einmal in Hawaii, wo man wusste hey, am Ende der Startbahn kommt Wasser. Ich hoffe er kommt zum Stehen. Da wir noch leben hat es funktioniert.
Das zweite Mal war in Las Vegas, da mussten wir dann sogar aussteigen und konnten wir erst zwei Tage später mit einem Ersatzflugzeug fliegen und das hatte auch einen Start Abbruch aber noch am Anfang, als wir auf die Stadtbahn gerollt sind. Da haben dann ein paar Passagiere sogar die Nerven verloren und angefangen zu heulen.
Verständlich, wenn man das zum ersten Mal erlebt oder halt nicht regelmäßig fliegt.
Aber mal ne andere Frage, weißt du, warum Australien gerade nicht direkt fliegt, sondern das über airBaltic abwickelt wir fliegen Samstag in die USA über Wien und fliegen auch mit airBaltic nach Wien ???
