#1084 - Forest Bathing and Night Scenes in Baguio City Shots for Thursday.

Happy New Year and a bright Thursday to us all dearest Hiveans around the globe! Here we are now stepping into the very first Thursday of a brand new year. It's a special kind of day, isn't it? Wishing you a Thursday filled with positive vibes and a heart full of hope for this incredible year ahead. Happy New Year once again to you and your significant people! May it be your best one yet😍.

Moving now to our daily shots during one evening in Baguio which began with a view that felt like we were looking down fron our vantage point with the city lights looking like dot the darkness across the mountain terrain that looks glowing. This is somehow similar to that city that never sleeps, it was awake and twinkling with peaceful vibrant spectacle.

Then after those scene from a high angle, we joined the city by the Session Road, the famous avenue was alive full of energy of the night. On the path while walking slowly and going down hill, there was Bumblebee bringing attention to the night right outside the Benguet Prime hotel.

Then the next morning, we headed out early to the Yellow Trail in Camp John Hay which is just a few kilometers of drive. The moment we stepped onto the path felt like the city's noise vanished and got replaced by the crunch of pine needles and tiny branches underfoot and the cold fragrant air of the forest. It's some few kilometer loop and a place for peaceful reflection under a cover of tall pines and tight trails.

As we walked the gentle path, we came across something, a narrow gate marked with an American eagle crest. This was the boundary of the official summer residence of the U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines which is a secluded piece of land that is not accessible to us the public. It served as a reminder that this forest was once the John Hay Air Station which was a major U.S. military rest and recreation facility for decades during the previous world War before being turned over to our country the Philippines.
