We ended up eating a “choripán,” a chorizo sandwich, served with fries, which cost us around $9.
Just yesterday I've learned about choripán. Funny, how soon I stumble across this dish again 😆
I think you could compare it to a German Bratwurst (grilled sausage) in a bun. But to be fair, a choripán does seem a bit softer and slightly more delicious!

Oh, I looked it up online and it's quite similar apparently :) But eating it with bread makes it more of a quick bite. The place we went to was fancy and they served it on plates, but typically you eat it standing up at a street stall 😂
