You have no idea how jealous I am of your little plants! 🌱💚 (healthy jealousy, of course) I’m renting, and the place I moved into doesn’t have any soil space in the yard at all. I do have a few pots, but during winter it’s really hard for the sunlight to reach down there🥲
I only have a tiny avocado plant that I grew myself from an avocado I bought 🥑
I’ve been taking care of it for a whole year, and I just transplanted it into soil recently. It’s still very small, but I’m really proud of it 🥹
Happy beginning of May! Sending you a hug 🤗

I've been looking forward for the last 10 years to get into gardening. I left that to my late Roommate and best friend to do as I was still working. Too busy in my Nursing career, caring for my Roommate and raising my sons. I've forgotten most of my horticultural skills it's like learning all over again starting back on the ground floor.
Now that I am no longer working I relish my time engaged in creating my little paradise on earth, and I thank God for blessing me with a mortgage free home.
I enjoy the taste of avocados, the climate here in Canada is not conducive to growing avocados unless I have a fully controllable environmental greenhouse. The growing season is 8 out of the 12 months It would cost too much to install, I will continue to buy them at my store that imports them. One Avocado plant counts as a start, if you can take care of little very well, than you are capable of taking care of more @yiyi.maiola, you just need the space and opportunity.
Thank you for dropping in ❤️
