i was supposed to go to Istanbul the beginning of this year, then there was a change of plans.
The touristanbul thing is good to know, they've been quite aggressive in recent years, i know many people have flown with them but I haven't done many long haul indirect flights to the east yet. Definitely bear this in mind if I do.

It's definitely worth it, and I found it by pure accident; was planning to go by myself but this is much more practical (and cheaper!), even without the nice explanations from the guide. Istambul is an amazing city, definitely worth the visit; and if you can, don't miss the Capadócia region also!
