RE: An afternoon at Amersfoort

It does look like an amazing day to visit that small town. The city I grew up in is similar. A lot of water, a lot of green in summer, and that special, relaxed vibe. But more tourists, maybe. There are some great walks around there, too, to the castle, to the "Princes' House" or the "Princes' Island". Makes me want to go back there...

I like how the fort is still visible in the design of the city, how the streets are laid and such. And it seems like most of the architecture of the houses is in line with the history, too. And those two bridge-houses? Are those flats? Weird design, but might be cool to live there.
